What gets in the way of good communication?

Many of us have been taught to speak from our heads and not from our hearts.

Speaking from the head focuses on fault, blame, analysis, judgment, interpretations, ‘good/bad’; it aims to make a case and to ‘win’. Speaking from the heart on the other hand, focuses on the universal language of feelings and needs and emphasizes both listening and expressing with compassion. It aims to preserve connection above all. Coach Ingrid provides practical exercises to guide you in this new, life-affirming approach to communication.
